Grey Phalarope at Fairhaven Part Two

In actual fact these were taken before the other post... doesn't matter – here are some more images of the visit – it may be sometime before I post again, so two posts in one day!

Mallard for size comparison

Look carefully, Grey Phalarope in the middle – not all sunshine!

Geoff. Can't keep up with you these days !!! These are fabulous images.....all of them. The ones of the phalarope riding the waves are brilliant...Looks like I may have to pay a visit !! Well done.

Morning Geoff. The phalarope seems to enjoy the conditions not like us,it makes it so much harder to get good images. These are brilliant ever one of them, the first two put in context the conditions and the size of the phalorope and shows how hard it is to get these images. VERY WELL DONE AGAIN.ps hope every thing is ok.

Hi folks, Brian, I can't keep up with me at the moment! Just glad I was driving past that way; I hope you find time to call in.

Martin look forward to seeing your photos, it wasn't easy and I'm getting too old for this (armchair and log fire please)! Thanks for your thoughts – not great, I'm afraid, one day at a time.

PS
Worth looking out for the Yellow Wagtails (2 juveniles, sticking together) around the Bowling Green/Tennis Courts area. Easily spooked and I couldn't really get close enough – you will be ok with your equipment. I'll post when I can later. Oh and the Kittiwake and Black Tern... good luck.
Cheers
